Pink Horizons

£98.00

I wanted to create a vibrant abstract watercolour painting that captured the ethereal beauty of a landscape at dusk. I was off the coast of Heysham in Lancashire and the weather was quite turbulent and unsettled. There were a myriad of colours including hues of pinks, greens, blues, and yellow blending seamlessly. All of which created a dynamic composition that evoked drama and wonder. The horizon line subtly divides the piece, hinting at a sunrise or sunset that was creeping through, I used textured brushstrokes to reveal the depth and movement of the scene.
